- A new specialty of Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture! Unagiimo (eel potato). This sweet potato is grown using the discarded parts of eels as fertilizer. It is aged for over 90 days after harvest before being shipped. The baked sweet potatoes, with a sugar content of over 40%, are rich in honey and have a melt-in-your-mouth texture! A natural sweet treat! Our handmade sweets at our Hamamatsu cafe are made with plenty of unagiimo, bringing delicious happiness to everyone! Our most popular item is the unagiimo pudding!
